Make USB Stick Bootable
1. Command Prompt, 'Run as Administrator'
2. type diskpart
3. type List Disk (find the number of the CORRECT disk that we are going to format - if you choose wrong, you will wipe it out.)
4. type Select Disk (number of the disk) For example, if it was disk 3, you would type "Select Disk 3"
5. type clean
6. type create partition primary
7. type format fs=ntfs
8. type active
Copy the entire contents of the Windows 7 DVD to the Flash Drive using windows explorer or the following commands.
xcopy d:\*.* /s/e/f e:\
Replace the install.wim file from the Sources folder with your customized install.wim file.
Simply rename your captured file to "install.wim" and overwrite the install.wim file that is located in the /sources folder. (your captured image file came from using a capture boot image in Windows Deployment PXE boot to capture an image after you've sysprepped it - earlier steps).
Note: The install.wim captured with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit is probably a more realistic .wim image to use than the one captured by Windows Deployment
